Today, we will talk on Keyword Density, Prominence and Proximity because as a SEO and Digital Marketing expert you have to know what is that and how to use in content. By now most of the SEO experts and anyone who is working on search engine optimization for their website knows that placement of the keywords phrases for which they are optimizing can harm their search ranking in search engine
That is known as Keyword spamming or keyword stuffing

While writing content on any topic put your keywords simply, Keyword density is the ratio or you can say percentage of the number of times your keyword appears on the page of your articles, vs the number of words on the page. For example, if your web page has 700 words of body copy and your keyword phrase appear 7 times, then it would be 1%. The main thing is that no one knows what is the exact ratio of keyword that would be considered ideal. This number change every time with new algo updates. However, two to three percent is probably in the correct range. If I talk about myself I wouldn’t exceed five to seven percent under any circumstances.
Keyword prominence refers to how prominent your keywords are within content of your page. Specifically, how close to the starting of the page’s TITLE tag, heading tags (H1, H2, H3, etc.) and meta description, where your keyword phrase is placed. You should always use your most important keyword phrase at the very beginning of your TITLE, Description, and H1 and H2 tags. For the better practice always try to being your first and the last sentence of content copy with the important keyword phrases.
A search term can be a combination of keywords and the keyword proximity refers to the distance between search terms. For example: a website contains the keywords that make up the search term “technical content writer” in the sentence “Content writer in Delhi area specialized in technical writing”. The search term proximity between “Content” and “Writer” is zero words, but between “technical” and “content” it is four words. The smaller distance between a search term’s is the more relevant it will be from a search engine’s point of view.
From the SEO point, the sentence should be written in “technical content writer in Delhi area blah, blah, blah.” In this way all three of search phrase words the searcher entered are next to one another.
Content is king, make your content spam free and be original with it, always use LSI keywords and do a proper optimization with keywords placement. Before writing always keep in mind all things like keyword density, keyword proximity and keyword prominence.
