Requirements: –

  • USB WIFI Adapter
  • Windows 7 PC

How to Make Virtual Router:

You have to create a virtual router in your laptop or computer to use your USB adapter as a Wi-Fi access point. Let discuss how to create virtual router.

  • Install USB WIFI Adapter (install drivers properly that come packages with it)
  • Run CMD (WINDOW key + R and then type cmd and Press Enter)
  • Run Following Commands in CMD


Follow the below given Steps with Screenshot


Wifi hotspot

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=hotspot_name key=password

Wifi adapter to hotspot

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

Allow internet sharing

Run the command: ncpa.cpl OR open network connection from the control panel. Right-click your internet connection and select properties and go to sharing tab

Allow other netowrk user to connect Through this Computer’s Internet Connection

And Go to Setting and check all click ok

Now your Hotspot is Ready to Use

To stop Hotspot Type this commant in cmd : netsh wlan stop hostednetwork
